day 6: school

monday morning, sam waited by her friend's locker. she waited until the second bell rang and she was late for class. liz never showed up.

sam sat down in the classroom and looked at the sea of empty desks. about three-quarters of the students were missing, including leslie.

where the hell is everyone? sam wondered.

"good morning, students," came the principal's voice over the loudspeaker. there was coughing before he continued...

"it seems that there have been some unexpected circumstances today..."
